Back in the day, people made their own holiday decorations from items found in and around their homes. Wooden clothespins and pipe cleaners were used as well as scraps of fabric, lace and leather from homemade clothing.This set of 9 pilgrims, in their Thanksgiving finery, are fine examples of folk art crafting from the 1940\'s.There are 4 women and 5 men plus 2 pumpkins. Each of the women have different dresses with slips underneath. The men all have similar but different outfits. The people do not stand upright on their own. Each crafted with amazing care and detail.
