When held, beautifully beaded strap allows 6\" drop from top of bag.Description: French Hand beaded Handbag Clutch Purse with white glass seed beads around multicolored crewel work flowers. Bags by Josef, France Mid Century piece.
Fold over snap shut closure with thumb flap. Gold purse frame is delicately handcrafted with raised detail foliate and has exquisite Cloisonné detail on the top edge. See photos close up. Cloisonné is an ancient technique for decorating metalwork objects. A 13\" beaded strap handle is attached to the gold frame.
Ivory satin fabric interior.Condition: Excellent condition, light signs of use. Interior Ivory satin fabric interior has some age related shading discoloration near opening.
