This fine hat is in near mint condition, truly a classic.With the original box it\'sa rare combination!
This hat belonged to my grandfather who lived in Reading PA since the 1930s. See the photo of him with me and my sister from circa 1972. The color is hard to describe - it\'s not black, brown, green, but it\'s some combination of those = moderate olive? His initials are stamped inside the headband (EEC). I\'m glad he kept it and the box, it\'s a real treat to see but it doesn\'t fit my head unfortunately.

Original Box!

Box shows some wear from being stored over 60 years since it was made, but still in very good condition. Leather strap is in good condition to, although you can see it has disconnected from the box on one end, but it is truly ornamental. The had trim has 2 small pin holes where flowers or feathers or something was pinned at one time (and can be again!). Please see the photos for more details on the condition of this item and to see what is included (if it’s not in the photos it’s not included).
