Vintage NAVAJO Old Pawn EARLIER HAND HAMMERED STAMPED STERLING SILVER BEAD NECKLACE

19\" Long ~ 49.6 grams (1-3/4 ounces)

Here is an exquisite string of earlier vintage Navajo beads, of museum quality, completely handmade, hand cut, hammer incised, domed and meticulously center seamed. Composed of 39 PLUMP and beautifully shaped Navajo pearl beads, 19 larger beads are beautifully patterned, 20 beads are plain silver. Stamped bead sizes range from a large 17mm at center to 15, 13.5, 12mm; plain beads are 10mm with one bead at ends 8mm. Sizes will vary very slightly as beads are all made entirely by hand. Necklace has aged patina with beautiful lustre, is strung on sturdy foxtail cable with handmade hook and eye closure. A fabulous earlier handmade Navajo necklace in excellent vintage condition. Unsigned, tests sterling silver 900 (coin) or better.
