Vintage Navajo J. Toadlena Chunky Cuff Bracelet

Forsale is a vintage sterling silver and turquoise watch cuff bracelet made by James Toadlena, Navajo silversmith. This bracelet is probably from the 1960\'s It is one of his rarer sand cast pieces. It weighs in at 65 grams. I believe this for a woman. It measures approximately 5 1/4\" inside with a 1 1/4\" gap. At it\'s widest it is just under 1\" and tapers down under the wrist and under where the watch mounts. (Watch not included) The watch flanges measure approximately 1\" apart.This bracelet is not marked but I had it tested and it tested .925 sterling. It is clearly marked \"J.TOADLENA\".

It has six very nice turquoise nuggets mounted in saw tooth bezels. They are a darker blue and seem to bubble up out of the bezels. It also has thick decorative edges. button flowers, and leafs as decoration.

When I acquired this piece the flanges that hold the watch on as well as the decorative pieces that cover those flanges when the watch is installed were broken. I had these replaced by the Native American silversmiths at Old Town Jewels in Scottsdale, AZ. they did a wonderful job, even researching J. Toadlena\'s other work to authentically reproduce the flanges and covers. This watch cuff is now ready for your watch to be mounted. I do suggest you have someone familiar with putting watches on these NA watch cuffs do the work.
