A vintage cast iron cookware item...extra deep skillet - chicken fryer...(unmarked maker)... BSR - Birmingham Stove & Range... No.8... 10-1/4\"... MADE IN USAest. circa 1960s... this era skillet does not have a smooth milled finish... the basting lid
has dimples... the skillet bottom is smooth (no heat ring)...
solid older cookware item...the diameter is 10-1/4\" at the rim... 3\" deep... total weight 10 lbs 6 oz...Good condition... completely cleaned...
no cracks or damage...
the pan sits well with a slight wobble - not warped...
lid fits well as should...
some small pocks interior bottom, I suspect original...
no pitting/rust...this item has been completely cleaned of old cooking build up... it has a light protective
coat of olive oil... you will want to season it with your choice of vegetable or
