Antique Whiting (also Gorham) sterling silver .925 brite cut, gold wash, berry serving spoon, in the scarce circa 1865 Aesthetic Calla Lily pattern, which is NOT monogrammed. The spoon measures approximately 9 5/8 inches long, & weighs 1.670 ozt. There are no hallmarks, but has been tested with an XRF analyzer machine, & tests positive for sterling silver. The spoon is in antique estate condition as follows;THERE IS SOME SCRATCHING, LIGHT WORN WASH, & WEAR CONSISTENT WITH THE AGE OF THE PIECE & NORMAL USAGE. THERE IS NO SPADIX IN THE BLOOM & THE PIECE HAS NO HALLMARKS, BUT HAS BEEN TESTED WITH AN XRF ANALYZER MACHINE.
