A good copyof this scarce and highly collectable children\'sclassic.The second book in the Winnie the Pooh Seriesfollowing When We Were Very Young and preceding Now We Are Six and The House atPooh Corner.

Deep greenboards) with lovely gilt images ofthecharacters- Christopher Robin and his fishing rod with Pooh. Ithasgreen decorated endpapers. 159 pages. Manybeautifulillustrations by Ernest Shepard.

Good condition - Covers in overall good condition;clean and bright; a few small marks to covers. Front and rear bottom cornershave some areas of fading / rubbing (see photos). Gilt still pretty sharp tofront cover and spine – slight fading to gilt line on edge of front cover. Spinestill nice and bright with gilt sharp. Some wear to edges of book; top / bottomof spine a little bumped / worn. Corners bumped and a little worn; bottom corners offront and rear covers a little worn / frayed. Internallygood condition - Binding is good – no loose pages; hinges firm. Book has inscription (dated 1926) to firstblank page and small booksellers sticker to reverse of front endpaper – otherwiseclean: no scribbles, no colouring in (which is common in childrens’ books). Freeendpapers a little yellowed. Book has been read as there are a few light fingermarksand a few spots of foxing – some yellowing / foxing between a few of the pages.P45 has 1cm closed tear to bottom of page (see photo below).

Overall a good copy of this rareand much sought after book
