A very nice condition World War 2 Japanese naval cap with a rare tally. Grouping includes a picture of the soldier it belonged to and his handmade pouch that had some kind of good luck Buddhist coin and a 10 Yen bill. In addition, the U.S. solder that acquired the cap seems to have brought back several souvenirs from his deployment, which appear to be Chinese or Japanese.A 1945 dated Shanghai China embroidered silk cloth

Another silk like clothCap is in very nice condition for it\'s age. It does have 1 hole about the size of a pinhead, other than the intentional air holes on the sides. Souvenir silks have been stored folded, so have creases that need flattening. 10 Yen bill is pretty worn. Otherwise, everything is in great condition and has likely been sitting in storage since WW2. The coin appears to be brass.
The cap tally apparently reads:Kaigun Kikan Gakko
Which was the Navy Engineering Academy. I can\'t seem to find another tally like this one.
