This is an original 1916 UNITED STATES QUARTERMASTER CORPS (USQMC ON THE BELL) Bb/Acoronet. Also called a \"new wonder\" model.
As used by the military during WWI, the serial number puts it at 1916 manufacture best I can find.
Case is not original to the horn but comes with it.
No mouthpiece included. Finish is obviously worn and needs repairs in a few places see pics. 2 bracing points need solder, and there is a rip in the lead pipe, has tape on it now. Some other bumps and bruises.
Has been cleaned, and still plays well, valves are smooth. Keep in mind it is 100 plus years old!Makes a nice addition to any world war one collection or vintage horn collection.
