This item is a Vintage Linen Cover 1917 The Service Song Book, prepared for the men of the Army and Navy of World War I by the

International committee of Young Men\'s Christian associations, edited by Clarence A. Barbour. New York; Association press. 1917. 232 p.

18.5 cm. With music. In the absence of any official hymn or service book, most chaplains used The Service Song Book
published by the YMCA in 1917 for sailors and soldiers of the Navy and Army of WWI. There are 201 pages of songs, back of book has

poems, scripture readings and prayers. There are prayers for the sick and wounded, for solidiers going into battle, etc.

Overall, this is in good well-used condition. The cover is attached & the pages show some edge wear and tear, the binding is coming

apart from the pages which are still bound together. It is approx 7 1/4\" tall and 5\" wide. Please see photos for more accurate
