For your consideration is this very nice WWII vintage Bausch and Lomb US Army M8 6x30 binocular. It is in great used condition, considering it\'s age and where it was used. The optics are clean, the focusers work perfectly, the view is clear and bright. These are totally usable as they sit. They have a very generous 8 degree field of view, and I believe they have BAK4 prisms, based on the round exit pupils. The reticle range scale is in the left barrel and is clean. The reticle is pretty easy to remove, too, if you don\'t want to have that in the field of view. This is the genuine article, marked US Army with serial number. The body is very nice, with no covering loss. There is some minor paint loss on the prism covers, and the objective rings are worn a bit from field use. The thick leather strap is still supple. Overall, this has aged very gracefully and has wonderful patina. They are lightweight and fit great in the hands. Unfortunately, there is no case. When I wonder what these may have looked at during their military career, I almost don\'t want to sell them. Unfortunately circumstances are forcing me to thin the collection. Thanks for looking!
