Sadly, due to my mother\'s passing, I have the daunting task of liquidating her estate. Soon I will be listing the beautiful and fun things she collected over the years.
We are going to make these Disney sales fun by starting each piece tonight at only $5.00! Let\'s have some real sale fun, just like Mom would have liked it!
This sale is for the children\'s (Michael\'s?) bed in the Walt Disney movie Peter Pan when their imagination turned their bed into their own pirate ship. This limited edition piece was released as part of the \"Classic Walt Disney Collection,\" retired in 2004. It was made to go with other figurines, to create your own scene with the kids playing, that were sold separately. This wonderfully whimsical piece of art measures approximately 9 1/2\" x 13\" and is a bit heavy. It does have the lid to the treasure box, which I have seen is sometimes missing, as well as its original WDCC box.
The ship appears to be in excellent condition. I do see some scuffing of the metal plate under the ship as shown in photo. The wood plaque with brass tag are perfect with no scratches whatsoever.
I have listed her hand-signed Thomas Kinkade, pieces of her Aynsley Cottage Garden set and will be listing her Bohemian, Venetian and Mikasa art glass, exceptional Fenton pieces, as well as perfume bottles collection, Lenox Ladies of Fashion, and other lovely and well loved items.
