Features Walt Disney in his office at the old Hyperion Studio; prominently featured in full color on the cover. Issue is in excellent condition. A beautiful display item; suitable for the finest Disneyana collection. Includes the imprinted address on reverse.

Rear cover features MGM film star Robert Taylor advertising Lucky Strike Cigarettes. Features a detailed look at the old Hyperion studio; 3 pages. Features several photos; including Walt at the storyboard (with Oliver Wallace, Jack King, and Harry Reeves) for a Donald Duck cartoon short; and also a photo of Roy O. Disney (Walt\'s brother and chief financial officer at the Studio).

Here, Walt was only 36 years of age, and on the crest of an unprecedented wave of popularity throughout the world. Of particular note is the reference to the $1 million loan from the Bank of America. In order for \"Snow White\" to become a Disney asset again, the picture would have to gross at least $2.5 million. It is safe to say that the $10 million earned in 1938 alone was more than sufficient to prove that Walt Disney and his studio would survive for a few more years.
