VERY easy Flex - Great Artit\'s Pen, Not really a nib for a beginner in flex, almost hard to control - (PLEASE SEE THE NIB PHOTOS)

working vintage 1920s pen (Classic that is in VERY STURDY condition) - Nice collectable & user grade pen with a great expressive nib !, no warp & no cracks, no personal names, the cap threads on securely and post very well- In fact the cap fits & posts on this pen perfectly - the section is black, (as I did not have a good ripple section) - the pen is a ring top - with nice gold filled ring, cap band & lever - no brassing that I see.

The (3) factory imprints have some wear, but are readable and clear as shown , the \"52 1/2V\" can clearly be seen on the end of the pen

a very usable a Writing Tool , It is ready to fill with ink & write :-) ~ The lever works very well with the brand new quality ink sac that was just installed , the feed was ultrasonically cleaned - deep ink channel - Good ink flow , Very nice writer.

IDEAL #2 New York Nib, 14K, ~~~ VERY easy Flex - Not a nib for a beginner in flex, almost hard to control - (PLEASE SEE THE NIB PHOTOS) the tip is a Needle Fine point, or even hair lines with a light hand. with Excellent Iridium tipping (See photo) , Very nice line variation, Flexing from XX-fine point to 1.4 mm possible but I would stay at 1.2mm or below for nib longevity, (Very nice line variation) you will still have control for every day fine point writing with a light hand, When you want some line variation, it goes from a fine point to a wider line as shown with light to medium pressure, it has a nice very easy soft feel. it will provide excellent line variation & expression.

Great nib for an Artist - if you have a light hand it could be used for everyday writing (with expression), for doodling , sketching , or every day note taking and/or expressive letter writing :-) copperplate / Spencerian.

The writing sample was made by actually filling the pen with ink & writing with it, The writing sample will come with the pen, The Paper is from a Rhodia Dotpad No. 16, the dots are 5mm apart to help you gauge the line variation. The inks are Waterman South Sea Blue (Inspired Blue) , and Diamine Monaco Red. (and Diamine Jade Green)

SMALLER PEN - The pen is 4 & 3/8\" capped. and 5 & 5/8\" posted - good size for writing when posted, it fits my hand well when posted
