Onoffer is a lovely Waterman 52 Fountain Pen which is stamped \"Waterman\'s Reg US Pat Off Ideal (in logo)Fountain Pen\". The number \"52\" is stamped on one end of the pen. All stamps are sharp and clear as is the overall design. It is also stamped \"Waterman\'s Reg US Pat Off Made in USA\". The penhas a very largeinscribedsolid gold band which has the Hallmarks forLondon 1926. The other hallmarks include the\"F.D.W.\" Englishhallmark for Waterman and \"9 .375\" denoting 9 Carat Gold. The actual inscription is \"Presented to Councillor W Shannon Opening Shannon\'s Bridge 21.1.28\". The nib isstamped \"Waterman\'s Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. 2\" and is in as new condition - superb and excellent. The pen itself is in excellent condition EXCEPT that it is missing the filler lever box. It has the filler lever, the lever pin and pressure bar - it is missing only the box (there is information on the Internet on how to replace it). With a minor (?) repair this pen would be a highlight of any collection - especially if you can find out who Councillor Shannon was.The penmay be returned for refund within 7 days of purchase if not 100% satisfactory.
