Waterman Oversized 100 Year Fountain Pen in superb, almost near mint, working condition. The color is black with gold filled trim. The pen is 5 1/4\" long; the diameter of the cap is 5/8\". The robust 14K gold nib is a bit flexible, medium/fine and imprinted: \"WATERMAN\'S - HUNDRED YEAR PEN (+ 18 - MADE IN U.S.A. at the base)\". All plastic and metal surfaces are smooth and shiny with no cracks, gouges, chew marks or engraved names. There is no brassing of the gold filled metal parts. The excellent cap imprint reads: \"WATERMAN\'S - REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. - MADE - IDEAL (in a globe) - IN U.S.A. - HUNDRED YEAR PEN\". The clip is imprinted: \"WATERMAN\'S\" The pen uses the lever filling system with a new ink sac and dates from the early 1940\'s.
