White Rock Glasses
You are buyingthree (6)Very RARE glasses.
These glasses were made by Libbey for White Rock Soda in the late 1950\'s.They are about5 &1/4 inches tall and 2 5/8\" at the rim.
The glasses feature the White Rocknymph inblack with a gold ring to the outer rim. The gold is 22k and in veryok condition withsome wear. Glasses are also in excellent condition, no chips or cracks!
A bit of history on the White Rock girl...
White Rockhad beentirelesslylooking for an imagethat symbolized purity to help represent their quality products. Then at a1893 faire, thatfeatured the work of German artist Paul Thumann and his depiction of\'Psyche at Nature\'s Mirror\', their search came to an end.Psyche was shown, topless, andkneeling over a fresh water spring. White Rockimmediately began producing the likeness on their mineral water bottles. She officially made her debut as theWhite Rocklogoin 1894.
