 We are pleased to offer this pair of c1910 Frank Whiting sterling bouillon cups. Retaining original hand painted Lenox liners. Founded in 1878 when Frank M Whiting bought out his two partners and formed Whiting Co. Acquired by Ellmore 1940. Tapering form with elegantly pierced bead and spear tip to shoulder. Repeating diamond and then oval panel. Sweeping elephant ear handles. Original gold trim hand painted liners. Whiting sterling bouillon cups 5 1/2 inches across handles and weigh 3 1/4 standard ounces, without liners. Hallmarked as shown. In excellent condition. Appear little used. Rich, lustreous silver patina. The beautifully pierced work retains is detail and is free of splits. Stand perfectly even on shelf. Original Lenox liners in fine state.
