Widman Eagle pommel head sword circa 1830\'s. The carved bone griphas shrunk a little, ageing, some cracks and couple of chips missing. Intricate brass knucklebow has dark patina with brass showing in places. US eagles on both langettes, \"W. Widman, Philad\" stamped on underside of quillon, ferrule has -what to me looks like-oak leaf motif. Entire grip is a little loose. Long curved 30\" blade is sharp and straight with a couple of small dings.Engraved with foliate designs, but not readilynoticeabledue to the dark patina of the blade, last 1/4 of blade has light rust/corrosion. NO SCABBARD
