Probably the most rare of all WW2 collectibles and will never again be made. These were issued to WW2 pilots to barter for safe passage, food, etc if shot down in enemy-held territory. Probably less than 2500 ever assembled, most of which were lost during the war. The government saleed the approximately 500 remaining kits in 1980. Later, many of these were broken up when gold peaked at over $1800 per ounce. There were a few variations of these kits- some contained gold coins and rings, some contained gold watches and links of gold chain. Each kit contained approximately an ounce of gold. Shipping will be via USPS insured priority mail.
The coins are: Great Britain Sovereign (George V), 2 Great Britain half sovereigns (George V), France 20 francs (rooster), and France 10 francs. All coins appear to be uncirculated or very nearly so. 2 of the rings are figured, the other is plain without decoration. I believe the rings are 22K yellow gold.
