A beautiful vintage Williamsburg Virginia Metalcrafters Colonial Jewelry Box in Solid Mahogany. There is no key to the functioning lock, and a few interior parts are missing. One wooden divider and the tray that lies on top of it are gone, as is the narrow velvet lining for the narrow back panel. The escutcheon, handle and hinges are solid brass and in excellent condition. The box has the registered trademark embossed on the underside. Gently used and in great condition, this beautiful wooden jewelry box is a collectors delight. A wonderful display item, regardless of the missing pieces. I tried to locate them, but haven;t had any success to date. If you would like a complete box with all the components, I have another one listed. I also have this rectangular box as a tea caddy with the leaded interior, and one \'copy\' (non VM) exact reproduction complete with a red velvet interior (instead of the gold velvet), and 2 VM octagon tea caddys for sale on , as well.The jewelry box is 10\" long, 6\" wide, 5 3/4\" high.
