Absolutely Wonderful Sommelier\'s, Silver Tastevin. French 2nd Standard .800 Fine silver.
Made by A. Vaguer. His working dates were 1887-1920. Has a French, Charles X 1825
silver 5 Franc coin mounted in the base. Clearly hallmarked on the inside of the cup and
on the Coiled Snake handle. Nice heavy weight with a reinforced rim inside. 86.5 grams.
Measures 3 1/4\" round, 4 1/4\" across the handle and is 15/16\" deep. Has engraved on
the outside rim what I believe to be a wine society logo. Not letters but a symbol. See picture.
