First attempt to make a SeminoleWomen\'s dress, top is light yellow cotton blend under blouse attached to cape, goes over head to put on, sleeves of blouse have underarm gusset and sleeves are gathered to cuff at bottom, blouse is long to tuck into skirt, cape is attached to blouse in one piece, blouse is 46\" around bust, sleeves 24\" long, cuffs 9\" around, skirt is gathered to waistband max waistband is 48\" with a drawstring to adjust for smaller waist sizes, length about 41\" with insert of rows of Seminole patchwork and strips of fabric, unhemmed at bottom, just woven edge of fabric, can be shortened but not lengthened. Cape is yellow linen type trimmed with ruffles, comes below elbow length, trimmed with cotton unhemmed ruffles. Front of cape is open and trimmed with ruffles, copied from pictures, future capes will be one piece and not open in front. This longer cape is a more modern length for cape than earlier periods.
