Wonderful 19th C Meissen Figural Sweetmeat Dish / Basket w/ Woman

This wonderful sweetmeat dish is in the form of a nicely dressed gentleman seated between two baskets holding flowers. The inside and outside of the baskets are nicely decorated with blue floral designs. The base is decorated with blue and white scroll type designs. It has the Meissen crossed swords mark on the underside and dates from the 19th Century. It measures approximately 4 + 7/8 inches at it‘s highest point, 5 + 3/8 inches in overall length, and 3 + 3/8 inches at it‘s widest point. It is in excellent condition with the exception of a couple repairs on his hat.
