Wonderful 19th C Meissen Figural Sweetmeat Dish / Basket w/ Woman:

This wonderful sweetmeat dish is in the form of a young lady seated between two baskets holding flowers. The inside of the baskets are nicely decorated with flowers. The base is decorated with scroll type designs and highlighted with gold gilt. It has the Meissen crossed swords mark on the underside and dates from the 19th Century. It measures approximately 4 + 5/8 inches at it‘s highest point, 5 + 5/8 inches in overall length, and 2 +¾ inches at it‘s widest point. It is in excellent condition with the exception of some writing on the underside, a few chips on her flowers, and some touch up on the gilt.
