Wonderful Antique Hubley Cast Iron Dog FIDO Advertising Paperweight Surfis:

Features:

This is a delightful little cast iron dog figurine. I am told it manufactured by Hubley as a paperweight and different companies would put their names on them. This one has 3 lines of wording and I can only make out the last line, “SURFIS”. It has an orange brown very chippy paint that may not be original. I also see a green and an ivory paint on him under the chippy paint. Either way this little pup is charming as all get out! I am estimating him to be from late 1800’s into the early 1900’s. So he is a true antique.

Size:

He measures about 2” tall x 1 1/2” x 1 3/4”.

Condition:

He is in very good condition. There is nothing wrong with him other than the charming chippy paint.
