This is a very special and very rare, Vintage Art Deco 1920's Hattie Carnegie Lush Fox Fur Stole. The heads are still attached but as shown in the 4th photo, if you wish, you can easily tuck them in. Lined in a black rayon type fabric. I have inspected this piece very carefully and have found no signs of wear. Clean, free of shedding, no splits to the pelts, just gorgeous! Very well stored. Here is a blurb I found in regards to Ms Carnegie: In 1925, I. Magnin was the first store to buy Hattie Carnegie designs wholesale. These designs carried the I. Magnin label and the Hattie Carnegie label. Carnegie is known as the first custom designer to create special collections for a ready-to-wear label for wholesale trade.
