The model is in MINT original condition. The box is in NEAR MINT condition. It has an old price written on one end flap. It is part of an old shop stock collection that we have just purchased. Please request additional photos (if needed).

We have just acquired a large collection (over 400 items) of \"old shop stock\" Life-Like, Bachmann, Fleischmann, Dapol, Atlas and Wrenn wagons and locomotives and will be listing them progressively in April/May.

OUR MODEL GRADING SYSTEM (As per Ramsay\'s 14th Edition)

MINT (M)=The model must be complete and as fresh, new and original in appearance as when first received from the manufacturers.
EXCELLENT (E) =The model is in almost mint condition but is only barred from that classification by having a few slight flaws, e.g., slight paintwork chipping in unimportant areas.
GOOD (G) =The model is in a complete and original condition and retains an overall attractive collectible appearance despite having a few chips or rubbed paintwork.
FAIR (F) =The model may be in its original state having, for example, a broken bumper, replacement radiator or windscreen, or it may have signs of metal fatigue. The paintwork may be faded, well chipped, retouched or repainted. There may be signs of rust. Unless the model is rare, it is in a barely collectible condition.
POOR (P) =The model will may be damaged, incomplete, repainted, altered, metal fatigued, or have a rusted base plate or heavily chipped paintwork, etc. Unless the model is rare, it has little real value to a collector other than a candidate for a complete restoration or use as spares.

MINT (M)=The box must be complete both inside and out and contain all the original packaging materials, manufacturer\'s leaflet and box labels. It should look as fresh, new and original in appearance as when first received from the manufacturers.
EXCELLENT (E) =The box is in almost mint condition but is only barred from that classification by just the odd blemish, e.g., there may be slight damage to the display labels caused by bad storage. The original shop price label may have been carefully removed and caused slight damage. The cover of a bubble pack may be cracked or there may be a very slight soiling etc.
GOOD (G) =The boxis complete both inside and out, and retains an overall attractive collectable appearance. Furthermore, despite showing a few signs of wear and tear, it does not appear \'tired\'..
FAIR (F) =The box will have a \'tired\' appearance and show definite signs of wear and tear. It may be incomplete and not contain the original packaging materials or leaflets. In addition, it may not display all the exterior identification labels or they may be torn or soiled or a box-end flap may be missing or otherwise be slightly damaged. In this condition, unless the model is particularly rare, it will not add much to the model\'s value.
POOR (P) = The box will show considerable signs of wear and tear. It will almost certainly be badly damaged, torn, incomplete or heavily soiled and in this condition, unless it is very rare, is of little value to a collector.

Ourgrading system should be used as a guide to enhance your purchasing decisions. The gradingof the model orbox is our opinion and isbased on over 40 years of collecting.
