A very nice WW1,9ct Gold Royal Engineers Sweetheart Badge complete with fixing pin.On the reverse,stamped \"9ct\"--there was a small amount of solder covering this mark which has been removed at some stage (see picture 2) no idea why.Wear around extreme edges commensurate with age.Weighs approx. 2.9g hence starting price of scrap gold,but in my opinion far too good to just scrap.Measures approx.:4.5 cm wide x 2cm high.
