Original WW1 German 1916 or 1917 helmet chinstrap. The chinstrap is missing one ring and the leather is broken at the ring loop. However, this is an original with excellent leather, both buckles and the remaining ring is solid and clean. Bringback from a WW1 vet, I may post more of his finds later this week
