For sale is an old school 1998 Santa Cruz Chameleon ingreat condition as it\'s seen limited use throughout the years. Made in the USA, when was the last time you saw that?? Very cool factory polished frame with many other factory polished components which makes this bike very unique and all the parts are manufacture polished, looks like rolling chrome when polished up. This bike is ideal for riders 5\'7-6\'3. Theframe isa XL with the seat tube measuring 20\" from center of BB to top of seat tube (where quick release for seatpost is located. The top tube measures 23\" from center of seat tube to center of steeringtube.This bike has a lot of hard to find, rareparts on it such as polished White Industry hubs, Race Face Forged polished cranks, Syncros Titanium bottom bracket, Chris King headset, Sram 9.0 shifters / brake levers / rear derailor (all in a carbon fiber finish), XTR v-brakes and front derailor, Shimano carbon fiber brake boosters front / rear, Thomson stem and seatpost, WTB Laser V titanium saddle, polished Marzocchi Bomber Z1 fork, WTB Nano Raptor 2.1 tires, Easton Flatboy pedals, carbon fiber Easton Monkeylite C2 bars, carbon fiber LP composites bar ends,Mavic rims (different models), Ergo clamp grips, etc.............very cool bike which I\'d like to keep but it only sits around unused. High end bike with the best parts on it, old school at it\'s finest. Frame has no dents or defects nor does the rest of bike. The frame may have light, dust scratches which can be polished out. The Santa Cruz sticker on down tube has a few flaws due to age but can be easily replaced if desired. It\'s not a show bike but it\'s in very good shape for the age, you will not be disappointed.

I just invested over $600 in new parts on this bike. The Marzocchi fork I just bought as new old stock and spent $400 on it, the bars and grips are also brand new. Since the new parts were added, the bike has seen less then 20 road miles. The bike gets tons of compliments. I\'m very hesitant to sell this bike as I know I will highly regret it. The bike has never seen hard use or dirt, it\'s been used for road riding and flat trails.
