This bolo tie isa like new, completely original and beautiful, Zuni (New Mexico),flush silverinlay Blue Jay. The etched inlay on this bolo isexpertly done andextremely fine. This beautiful and delicate style of inlay is considered to be the most difficult. The tie was made by Ruddell and Nancy Laconsello, two top, award-winning flush silver inlay artists in Zuni, and is signed with their hallmark \"RNL Zuni\" (see the fourth photo below).Their work is prominently featured in numerous galleries and museum collectionsthroughout the world, as well as in numerous books on Zuni jewelry, and is highly collectable. Such pieces are always a sound investment.

I purchased the tie new in Santa Fe, NM, in 1989, and haveonly worn it a few times. It shows no signs of wear, having no surface scratches, blemishes, or wear marks.

The tie is 2-3/8\"tallby 2\" wide (at the top), which is a very nice, wearable size.

This tie has a 1980s version of an unmarked Bennett-style clasp for attaching the cord (see thethird photo below).

The original four-ply black leather strap is like new, of course, and remains soft and pliable. The 1-3/4\" silver tips are also original andare nicelystamped (see thesecond photo below).

Note that the gray and/or copper coloredshadows in the following photos are simply the result of myattempt to photograph such a shiny silver surface and are not present on the bolo tie itself.
