I\'m offering for your consideration a very old very beautiful mosaic inlay knifewing pin of unique and striking design. I\'m attributing to Lee Edaakie, as it seems to be an earlier version of the one depicted in the Sei book \"Knifewing and Rainbow Man in Zuni Jewelry\" as copied in the page above. Note the stamped, starred, raindrops which are the same, as well as the muscular calves on the legs and the pointed tail., as well as the shape of the wings, body and skirt. Overall this is probably a piece made in the 1940s-50\'s predating the one in this book, lacking only a few embellishments, like the belt. But it\'s also priced much more reasonably, though it is a valuable piece and quite rare.

This pin is 2-3/8” High x 1-5/8\" Wide. It weighs 13 grams and has working rollover locking clasp. It\'s in excellent vintage, collectible and wearable condition and is made of natural stones: natural spondylus, turquoise, mother of pearl and jet., all superbly executed.

This is a monumental museum quality collectible. Such a great piece. I think you\'ll love it, as I do.
