A rare group of annual reports (1946 - 1964) from the Royal National Parks of Kenya. If a collector of Africana wanted to have a detailed account of activity in the national parks of Kenya during this time period these publications have it all. In 1952 their Royal Highnesses the Princess Elizabeth andthe Duke of Edinburgh visited Kenya on a state visit. During this visit her father King George died, shebecame Queen of England. All this is chronicled in the 1952 annual report along side information on the infamous Mau Mau revolt and pouching in the parks. Each annual report has great historical photos and goes into detail about all the parks in Kenya. Also included is the 1956 first annual report of the Kenya Wildlife Society.
