Click to View Image Album This is a spectacular antique hand carved conch shell cameo with mythological scene. Zeus is seated in center with an eagle. Before him, stand Psyche and Eros, and behind him there are 2 goddesses, one with a peacock. Incredible carving with finest of details. Set in simple 14K yellow gold bezel frame. Has original simple C hook pin clasp. The pin shaft has been replaced at some point, there is some solder on side of back frame and looks like early 20th century repair. There is an attached safety chain with tiny safety pin, I am not sure if original or not. Measures 2\" wide and 1-5/8\" high. No marks. The bezel frame tested and 14K, but other parts on back not solid gold. GUARANTEE ALL MY MERCHANDISE IS ALWAYS 100% AUTHENTIC. Please consider pictures as part of description.
