This is a large (13\" tall X 10 1/4\" wide and 3 7/8\" thick) family Catholic Holy Bible with tooled leather covers and brass clasps. Douay Rheims. Could not find an exact printing date, c1880. Very beautiful Bible, covers firmly attached and open and close easily. Clasps work properly. Many illustrations. There are 3 family pages in this Bible (HOLY MATRIMONY, BIRTHS and DEATHS) the matrimony page is filled out and the deaths page has 2 names recorded on it (last names of O\'Day). I found 1 page that has a small tear and another page that has some staining from tree leaves being used as a bookmark (8th and 9th pictures).
