Up for sale is a wonderful antique tin racing car wind up toy. A local gentleman brought me a couple of boxes of older wind up toys and battery operated toys and asked me to list them for him. He gave me no info on the pieces so I will tell you what I can. I am sure if you\'re looking at this item, you know a whole lot more than I do about the piece.
It measures 16\" long. I can find no maker\'s name on it. It bears the name of \"Rocket Racer\".When I gently wound it, there is tension on the spring and with a little encouragement, the wheels do turn. It shows some wear. I have no idea the age of the piece, but I would guess at pre-1940. Please look at the photos carefully, form your own opinion of condition and offer accordingly, because you are buying this piece AS IS. Ask any questions you need to, and I\'ll answer if I can.
