Please scroll down to see all pics.  NOTE: The satin fabric is very luminous and hard to capture the real coloring in pics.  In hand it is an even color, a deep champagne gold color.

A beautiful old vintage or antique embroidered applique on this church vestment banner of a 3 blossom white lily with multiple types of floss and stitches employed for effective shading and dimension.  Nice color shading worked in the stem & leaves also.  Fine red twisted cording couching the entire applique, so pretty !  Mounted on a deep champagne color satin and backed with a silky feeling lining.  Fringe across bottom seems a bit newer to me, it is approx. 2\" long.   I believe it is an older vintage piece, possibly 1920\'s - 30\'s, have a look and judge for yourself.  The 7 loops on back are an old hard plastic unless they are a carved loop, can\'t quite tell.  

I have not had this cleaned and leave that to the new owner when desired.  There is an old stain on the back edge (does not show in front) and some minor edge surface soiling in general.  Impressions in the lush satin from being in storage which may steam or clean out.  The embroidered applique of lilies is gorgeous with no damage or issues.
