This is a very unique hand-crafted Abraham Lincoln Mourning display being the very first of its design we have seen. Guaranteed Lincoln Assassination period and authentic. This 10" in diameter memorial has a very “Victorian” era feel to its design. Beautiful high relief raised portrait of Lincoln is in white, possibly in hand-carved soapstone, with a lower partial surround of colorful dried flowers arranged below, all being within a gorgeous glass and domed frame. The verso has some hidden mounting remnants where it had been adhered on display previously. Great Lincoln tribute! Magnificent museum quality display! The Single Finest example of any Abraham Lincoln Mourning Display we have seen.
