MINT: Pristine,probably never worn; Could be brand new or new old stock (properly storedvintage item that was never sold) in original packaging.

NEAR MINT: Like new, no apparent wear. Tarnishingmay be present, especially in vintage silver & silver plated items.

EXCELLENT: Top condition, minor wear not noticeableto the naked eye, no broken parts, all stones & components intact. Backs (especially of earrings)may be very slightly worn as long as the front is still in top condition.

VERY GOOD: Well cared for with no missing stones. Some rhinestonesmay be very slightly yellowed, but noticeable only upon close inspection.Enamel may have minor chips, may show slight wear or scratching on prongs,edges, or extremely minor wearing of gold plating. Backs may be very moderatelyworn. Any replaced stones should be a good match in size, cut and color.

GOOD: Very wearable and acceptable, however, upon naked eyeinspection may reveal less-than-perfect plating, including spotting (lightscratches or the small \"pepper\" kind) or \"high spot\" wornplating; minor rhinestone clouding and/or minor darkened or grayed rhinestones;minor rhinestone chipping, minor to slightly moderate chipping of enamel, minoryellowing and wear.

Bauble Babes ispleased to offer this “lucky” Victorian Era Wishbone pin. From c. 1895, it is marked 10k on the claspand pin stem. Also present is the maker’smark, EAB, which was used by E.A. Bennett & Co., formed in 1892 Providence, Rhode Island. Thiscompany became Bennett & Bradford in 1898 at which time the BB mark cameinto being. The special clasp on thispin was the precursor to the safety clasp and used only briefly. The Victorian Era is known for its use of symbolismin jewelry and here you have a delightful piece of history, a companion ofluck, and a conversation piece all rolled into one! You will find this pin in excellent antiquecondition with very slight wear commensurate with its age. (p.s. There are adapters that convert a pinto a pendant so it may be worn on a chain and most are under $5! Do a search and you’ll see a bunch.)
