This is an excellent early c1840 American black painted primitive frame. If you like crusty then this one is for you....it has a great dry surface with some stains(?) and spots but generally nice condition. Frame measures 15 5/8 x 18 5/8 with a 11 7/8 x 14 7/8 rabbet.
