A lovely volume with handsomely-painted sepia plates.This edition haseasy-to-read large text, and is an oblong format ideal for presentation of theillustrations within. Itis both beautiful andinstructive; suitable in the latter case for an experienced and well-practiced painter as it presumes proficiency generally and remarks only on its specific subject area.

CONDITION

In a cloth binding. Externally, sound with slight rubbing. Wear to corners of boards and head and tail of spine. Front hingetender.Internally, firmly bound. Some scattered foxing affecting first 6pp, otherwise bright and clean. Overall: VERY GOOD.
