a beautiful hallmarked solid silver georgian wine ticket / decanter label. in beautiful condition it has a foliate border and pierced letters to read sherry, it measures 4.7 cms wide x 2.8 cms high , weight approx 13 grams , the chain being of strong round links, the rear is hallmarked with the duty mark . sterling mark and date letter b? 1817, the makers mark is hard to read , the piercing appears to have been worked latter taking away the marks , this will display well on any fine period decanter ,,please study the photos .
