fine and very rare mid to late 17th century inlaid ebony cabinet desk ca 1625 to about 1680 , stipo monetiere northern Italian in great shape for age , magnificent pen work inlay on drawers , 11 drawers on top cabinet , desk has two large drawers , one large drawer in center pulls out flanked by four magnificent inlaid columns ,desk may have secret drawer not sure ? the bottom desk is a mid 19th century addition also inside of drawers and two lower front drawers are 19th century , the cabinet and draw fronts are 17th century i believe and the rest reworked , i believe the locks were added latter and are not original to the cabinet , piece measures 54 1/2 inches tall 37 1/2 inches wide and depth is 25 . back has replaced wood , i have just purchased this lovely item ,this is an incredible work of art and i believe very valuable , item sold as is thanks and good luck !
