this was found in a russian armoury buy out along with a few other navy items most were ww2 era but this and a couple of belaying pins and a diving suit were all older one of the pins will be listed tonight the other items were sold over a decade ago. this has a lot of old period repairs and it has some cracking where and there . it is aprox 41 inches in diameter at the widest points but it varys a little depending on where you measure it . it wieghts 26 pounds. it has hung on my wall since i found it over 30 years ago while sorting the rest of the items from the armoury. it may not be mint but atleast it is a real wheel i did see there is a small ship out of one of the grip ends.
