Picture nails were displayed above a picture and a long wire or robbon held the picture.
*The cameo picture nail is the most difficult and rarest of all the picture nails to find and collect.
*A picture nail was used when the nail was left displayed above the picture and a long wire held the picture below the nail.
*The brass ring on the rim has beading decoration and has a nice brass color.
*The brass ring has some dings and small dents.
*The cameo top is removed from the nail and the nail driven into the wall and then the cap is replaced.
*The white glass cameo has some age spots in the glass from when it was made. There are no cracks.
* Ideal for authentic restoration and antique effect. Since it is old and used they will add instant age and history.
* This nail is 2 3/4\" longand thehead is 1 1/16\" in diameter.
