This is a stunning pair of vintage solid brass crowned lion book ends.they are made of thick brass and have nice weight to them.Each depicts a standing lion wearing a crown with his foot propped up on a large flower.it has a nicely routed base and a brass flat piece that sits under the books.they are in nice condition and each measures 6 inches tall by 5 1/4 inches wide.
