This item is being sold by Bryan Dec (Net54 member BDECSPORTS), and we have been in business since 1989 & this is our 18th year on . Offered is an 1887 Detroit Wolverines (Champions of the League) baseball team cabinet photo, it measures 4-1/4\" x 6-1/2\", and it was produced by the Tomlinson Studio in Detroit. The players are all identified, and includes HOF\'ers DanBrothers, Deacon White, Sam Thompson & Ned Hanlon. The photographic portion of the cabinet photo has good contrast & clarity, but some of the players names being hard to read. The cabinet photo has some faint staining, the photo is lifting up a bit in the top border, there is a tack hole in the top border, and there is some paper loss on the back top right corner. Despite some flaws, the cabinet photo has great eye-appeal, and the 2 most recent sales of this cabinet photo was $2,400 for a trimmed mount & a large clipped corner example, and $10,450 for a SGC 40 (Very Good) example, both being sold by Love of the Game sales.
