offeredis a colorful 1930 art deco enmael clark \"petite\" pocket petrol liftarmlighter. the gold plated lighter features a wonderful 2 side modernistic art deco design with a double wheel liftarm mechanism. the fuel screw has its top hat style spare flintholder. the clark liftarm was first invented in 1926 by edward fosterclark of attleboro, mass. this is a \"petite\" version andmarked \"the petite made by clark\" on the underside. clarkwas an important manufacturer of liftarm lighters as well ascigarette cases and automatic lighters. i have shown an old ad featuring this exact design and other liftarm clark info. the lighter measures about 2\"tall x 1-1/8\" wide and is in good used condition. there is some sort of aged dirt flaw to some of the plating that might clean with polish-[please look at edges]. the enamel is in excellent condition with some minor crazing. the flint wheel turns correctly and the mechanism should work with proper service of fuel and flint but lighter sold as a collectible. thelighter will may clean to look better. overall - a showy art deco enamel clark liftarm pocket lighter for yourcollection. patent and ads are not included in the sale - digitalcopies can be emailed to winning buyer.. lighter is sold as a \"non-working collectible\". usa is first class ship cost. overseas is usps first class mail except the SHIP COST to italy-china-HK-southeast asia-india-vietnam-thailand- Eastern europe-russia-philipines - spain-greece-turkey - mexico - mideast-central south america via usps priority mail only-$36. please make sure to read my vintage lighter articles on the internet and in blaze lighter magazine. i combine shipping. **please view all the vintage lighters-ronsons- dunhills-and 20th century deco i offer on . please email questions-thanks.
